Morning Rituals - Start with Intention

Build a gentle beginning that supports calm for the rest of your day.

The First 10 Minutes

  1. Minute 1-2: Open a window or curtain. Let fresh air and natural light set the tone.
  2. Minute 3-5: Stretch overhead, then side-to-side. Move slowly and breathe through the nose.
  3. Minute 6-8: Sip warm water from your favorite cup. Notice temperature, taste, and breath.
  4. Minute 9-10: Place one hand on your chest and choose one intention: "steady", "kind", or "curious".

Script: "Today I begin softly. I will move through this day with gentle awareness."

Three Morning Prompts

1) What am I grateful for today?

Example: "Warm sunlight on my desk."

2) What would make today feel gentle?

Example: "Taking one slow tea break at noon."

3) One small thing I'll notice

Example: "The color of the sky at 8:00."
