What is Kaizen?
Kaizen means improving through small, continuous steps. It is not about perfection. It is about choosing one doable action today that supports tomorrow.
Gentle script: "I do not need dramatic change. I need a kind repeatable step."
One Percent Better Each Day
- Drink water first thing in the morning.
- Put one item back in place before leaving a room.
- Write one sentence in your journal.
- Take one slow breath before opening email.
Weekly Kaizen Tracker
| Day | Small Improvement |
|---|---|
| Mon | Put away one shelf item |
| Tue | 2-minute stretch break |
| Wed | Prepared tea before work |
| Thu | Wrote one gratitude sentence |
| Fri | Cleaned one desk corner |
| Sat | 10 quiet breaths at sunset |
| Sun | Planned one gentle goal |
Kaizen streak formula: consecutive days with at least one logged improvement.
Worked example: If you log actions on Mon, Tue, Wed, skip Thu, then log Fri, your current streak on Fri is 1 day; longest streak is 3 days.
